UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine
The United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine is a branch of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) established to document human rights violations in Ukraine in the context of the armed conflict that began with Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. The mission carries out systematic monitoring, collects testimony from victims, and regularly publishes reports on civilian casualties, torture, arbitrary detention and other abuses. Its mandate is renewed periodically by the UN General Assembly and the Human Rights Council.
