Moldova's Customs Service
The Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova is the central state authority responsible for customs control and clearance of goods at the country's borders. It operates under the Moldovan government and is governed by national customs legislation. The service carries out controls at border crossing points, including those on the border with Ukraine, and cooperates with the border agencies of neighbouring states.

Shell near Ukraine–Moldova border crossing hits bus, injures Moldovan officer
A shell fell near the Palanka–Maiaky–Udobne border crossing on the Ukraine–Moldova border on 5 October at around 09:38, ricocheted into a parked bus and injured a Moldovan border police officer. The checkpoint was suspended, Moldovan roads toward Palanka were closed at 10:50, and traffic was redirected to the Tudora crossing. Ukrainian and Moldovan authorities linked the incident to a Russian attack on Ukraine.
