Italian Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence of Italy is the government department responsible for the country's armed forces and military policy. It is headed by a civilian minister. Its headquarters are in Rome. The ministry oversees the Italian Army, Navy, Air Force and the Carabinieri, which form the country's four military branches.
