Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is the central executive body responsible for shaping and implementing government policy in social protection, pensions, family support, and assistance to children and people with disabilities. It is headed by a minister appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the nomination of the prime minister. Since Russia's full-scale invasion, the ministry has administered support for internally displaced persons, payments to war-affected civilians, and other wartime social assistance programmes.
