Federal Foreign Office of Germany
The Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) is the German federal ministry responsible for the country's foreign policy and international relations. It is headed by the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, one of the senior members of the cabinet. The ministry represents Germany in the European Union and the United Nations, oversees Germany's diplomatic missions abroad and manages the consular service.
