German Federal Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance of Germany (Bundesministerium der Finanzen) is the federal executive authority responsible for the country's financial policy. It is headed by the Federal Minister of Finance. Its remit includes drafting the federal budget, managing public debt, customs and tax policy, and financial supervision. The ministry is based in Bonn, with a second office in Berlin.
