Ministry of Defence of Lithuania
The Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania is the central executive body responsible for shaping and implementing Lithuania's defence policy. It is headed by the Minister of National Defence, appointed by the Seimas on the nomination of the Prime Minister. The ministry oversees the Lithuanian Armed Forces, military mobilisation, defence-sector cybersecurity and cooperation with NATO and allies. Lithuania has been a NATO member since 2004 and has steadily increased its defence spending.

CIA warns European governments of possible Russian drone operation against Spain, France or Italy
The CIA has alerted European governments to a possible Russian operation using Gerbera-type drones launched from civilian vessels in international waters against Spain, France or Italy. The warning was shared after CIA Director John Ratcliffe's visit to Moscow in late August and against the backdrop of election campaigns in all three target countries.
