The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is the central executive body responsible for state policy in transport, road management, postal services and infrastructure development. It is headed by a minister who sits on the Cabinet of Ministers. Since Russia's full-scale invasion, the ministry has been responsible for protecting energy and transport infrastructure, organising alternative transport routes and coordinating humanitarian corridors.

Kyiv plans 1 billion hryvnia for water crossings across Dnipro after bridge strike
Kyiv’s Defence Council reviewed plans to build combined water crossings and access roads across the Dnipro, with the city allocating 1 billion hryvnias. The proposal follows a Russian strike on Pivdennyi Bridge that disrupted road and metro traffic between the Dnipro’s two banks. The council also discussed protecting bridge structures and installing mobile shelters.
