Russia launches massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine, targeting Kyiv region
Russia launched a large combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine during the night of November 6–7, with Kyiv and the Kyiv region as the main target. The strikes damaged energy infrastructure, homes, a kindergarten and Kyiv's North Bridge, disrupted electricity, heating and water services, and killed one man in the Kyiv region. By 09:00 on November 7, Ukrainian air defenses had neutralized or suppressed four missiles and 149 drones.
