Zelensky announces first combat use of Ukrainian-made FP-7 ballistic missile
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on 1 October that the domestically developed tactical ballistic missile FP-7 had been used in combat for the first time. The missile is produced by Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, which has positioned FP-7 as a cheaper analogue of the US MGM-140 ATACMS. Zelensky's announcement did not specify when or where the missile was launched, what target it struck, or what the strike produced.
