Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a separate branch of the Ukrainian military responsible for providing medical support to the army. It organizes medical evacuation, treatment, and rehabilitation of wounded and sick service members, as well as sanitary-epidemiological oversight within the troops. The commander of the Medical Forces is Kostiantyn Humeniuk, appointed to the post by presidential decree.
