Makhachkala Sea Trade Port

Makhachkala Sea Trade Port is the largest port on the Russian coast of the Caspian Sea, located in the capital of Dagestan. The port handles vessels of up to around 20,000 tonnes and specialises in transshipping petroleum products, general cargo and containers. It operates as a joint-stock company and serves as a key transport hub for the North Caucasus and wider Caspian region.
