Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (HUR MO)
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (HUR MO) is Ukraine's military intelligence service, subordinate to the Ministry of Defence. It conducts strategic intelligence, carries out special operations and provides intelligence support to the Armed Forces. The directorate has been led by Kyrylo Budanov since 2020. HUR has played a prominent role in operations against targets on Russian-occupied territory and inside Russia.

Drone strikes hit energy infrastructure across occupied Crimea overnight
On the night of September 30, a drone alert was issued across occupied Crimea, with multiple explosions reported near thermal power plants in Simferopol and the Tavricheskaya TPP. Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said air defenses were operating in the eastern districts of the peninsula. Emergency power outages were introduced due to damage to electrical networks and a capacity deficit in the energy system.
