Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense
The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defence (HUR) is the military intelligence branch of the Ukrainian armed forces. It has been led by Kyrylo Budanov since 2020. The directorate conducts strategic intelligence and special operations abroad and has played a prominent role since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, often publicising findings related to the war.
