Lviv TCC officer held in custody over beating death of mobilized man
Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) has notified a servicemember of a Lviv Territorial Centre of Completing and Social Support (TCC) unit of suspicion in the beating death of a mobilized man at the enlistment office, and a court has placed him in custody without the right to post bail. The victim, who was beaten with fists and kicks while lying on the floor with his hands cuffed, died in hospital from multiple rib fractures and severe lung injuries. The suspect had previously been convicted of receiving a bribe and received a non-custodial sentence.
