Ukraine Energy Committee Seeks Energoatom-Trading Leadership's Dismissal Over October Auction
Ukraine's parliamentary energy committee has asked Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi to dismiss the leadership of Energoatom-Trading and cancel contracts from the October 27 electricity auction. The committee alleges possible market manipulation that may have cost the wholly state-owned Energoatom about 1.8 billion hryvnias. D. Trading rejects the allegations and says its participation in the auction was routine.
