Levada Center

The Levada Center is a Russian independent polling and sociological research organization, founded in 2003 by Yuri Levada and based in Moscow. It grew out of the earlier Levada Analytical Center and is known for regularly publishing public opinion surveys on political, economic and social issues in Russia, including presidential approval ratings. It is widely cited as one of the few remaining independent survey organizations in the country and has been designated a "foreign agent" by the Russian authorities.
