Latvian Army
The Latvian Army, formally the Latvian National Armed Forces, is the unified military of the Republic of Latvia, comprising the Land Forces, Air Force, Navy, and National Guard. It is subordinate to the Latvian Ministry of Defence and operates within the framework of NATO, which Latvia joined in 2004. Latvian troops participate in NATO-led missions, and Latvia has supplied military aid to Ukraine.
