Kyiv Oblast Military Administration
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration (OVA) is a temporary state authority in Kyiv Oblast established under martial law, exercising the powers of the oblast council and state administration. It is headed by a chief appointed by decree of the President of Ukraine. The administration coordinates local governance, civil defence and emergency response in the oblast, including the consequences of Russian strikes on the region.

Russia hits Kyiv and surrounding region with combined missile-drone attack, child killed in Vyshhorod
On the night of 30 September, Russia struck Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast with ballistic missiles and drones. In Vyshhorod, rescuers pulled three people from the rubble of a destroyed private house and later recovered the body of a child. Fires broke out in several districts of Kyiv and damage was recorded across Vyshhorod, Bucha and Obukhiv districts of the region.
