Ukraine's Prosecutor General Kravchenko resigns after "Carthage" corruption probe
Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced his resignation on the evening of September 7, hours after telling journalists he would not step down voluntarily and meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the Servant of the People faction. The move follows the NABU-led "Carthage" operation that exposed an alleged criminal organization inside the Office of the Prosecutor General, led by a senior official Serhiy Kropyva, and searches at Kravchenko's office and home.
