The KSE Institute is a think tank established in 2020 as part of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). It conducts research on economic policy, macroeconomics, energy, food security and post-war reconstruction issues in Ukraine. A major strand of its work is analysing the economic and infrastructural consequences of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Trump claims Russia and Ukraine agreed to halt energy strikes; Kyiv, Moscow and FT sources say no deal exists
On September 14, US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that Ukraine and Russia had agreed to mutually stop striking each other's energy infrastructure. President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is only conditionally ready to join such an arrangement, and the Kremlin did not confirm a reciprocal Russian commitment. Financial Times sources reported Trump had "jumped ahead" and that no final agreement had been concluded.
