US-mediated Olekshy ceasefire enables evacuation of nearly 800 people
A locally negotiated ceasefire in occupied Olekshy allowed humanitarian aid to reach the city and nearly 800 people to be evacuated, according to Melania Trump. Ukrainian authorities said Russian forces used the pause to rotate units, reinforce positions and expand logistics, while Ukrainian and Russian officials disputed whether the movement of military equipment violated the arrangements.
