Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement
The Committee on Law Enforcement of the Verkhovna Rada is a standing committee of the Ukrainian parliament responsible for legislative oversight of law enforcement agencies. Its remit covers the work of the prosecutor's office, the police and other security bodies, as well as matters of human rights compliance within those agencies. The committee is chaired by a member of parliament elected by the Verkhovna Rada.

Ukraine's first deputy prosecutor general resigns amid 'Operation Carthage' scandal
First Deputy Prosecutor General Mariya Vdovychenko has left the Office of the Prosecutor General, days after Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko also submitted his resignation. Both departures follow NABU and SAPO's 'Operation Carthage,' which exposed an alleged criminal organization within the prosecution service accused of protecting fraudulent call centers.
