Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP)
The Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) is a Hungarian right-wing political party that functions primarily as a coalition partner of Viktor Orbán's ruling Fidesz party. It was formed in 2009 through the merger of the Hungarian Christian Democratic Union and the Christian People's Party. The party advocates conservative, Christian and nationalist values and has maintained a close alliance with Fidesz, contesting elections jointly with Orbán's movement.
