Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant
The Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant is a Ukrainian nuclear power station located in the city of Netishyn, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, in western Ukraine. It is operated by the state-owned company Energoatom. The site houses two Soviet-era VVER-1000 reactors, with additional units under construction in cooperation with Westinghouse.

Leaked Russian document outlines three-stage plan to cripple Ukraine's energy system this winter
The New York Times published a Russian-language document dated August describing a three-stage Russian plan to systematically destroy Ukraine's energy and water infrastructure with up to 1,000 missiles, drones and bombs, targeting Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa. Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal had presented the document to European partners in Paris two weeks earlier. The NYT said it could not independently verify the document's authenticity, and it remains unknown whether Russia will carry out the plan or whether it would succeed if attempted.
