Kherson Oblast Military Administration
Kherson OVA (Kherson Oblast Military Administration) is a regional military administration of Ukraine exercising state power in Kherson Oblast. It was established after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion to govern the region under martial law. It is headed by a chair appointed by the President of Ukraine and is responsible for coordinating defence, humanitarian response and the work of local authorities across the oblast.

Russian drone strike on marshrutka kills one in Kherson, wounds twelve
On 4 September, a Russian drone struck a public transport stop and a marshrutka (route minibus) in the Central district of Kherson, killing a 47-year-old man and wounding up to twelve civilians by mid-afternoon. The attack was part of a broader day of Russian drone and shelling strikes across Kherson Oblast that injured at least eight others and prompted renewed warnings about fibre-optic-guided drones hunting civilian vehicles.
