Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration
The Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration is the executive authority of Kharkiv Oblast in eastern Ukraine, operating under martial law. It is headed by a chief appointed by decree of the President of Ukraine. The administration coordinates local government bodies and is responsible for security, defence, and the socio-economic stability of the region.

Russian guided bombs hit two Kharkiv districts overnight, injuring multiple children
Russian forces struck the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs (KABs) overnight on 28 September 2026, hitting a multi-story residential building in Saltivskyi and damaging apartment buildings in Kyivskyi. Multiple civilians were injured, including several children. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv Oblast head Oleh Syniehubov reported the attack and its casualties.
