Kh-47M2 Kinzhal
The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (Russian: «Кинджал», "Dagger") is a Russian aeroballistic hypersonic missile, operationally fielded in 2017. It is carried by a MiG-31K interceptor and is designed to strike ground and naval targets at distances of roughly 2,000 km with a manoeuvring conventional or nuclear warhead. It was developed within the Iskander-M program and is considered one of Russia's six planned strategic weapons under the late-2010s modernization program. Kinzhal missiles have been used repeatedly in strikes against Ukrainian targets since the 2022 full-scale invasion.
