Izmail District Military Administration
The Izmail District Military Administration is a body of executive state authority in Izmail Raion, Odesa Oblast, established for the period of martial law in Ukraine. Its head is appointed by presidential decree and exercises the powers of the district state administration under wartime conditions. It is responsible for coordinating the defense, public order and infrastructure of the raion, including the Danube border area.

Russian strike halts operations at Orlivka border crossing on Ukrainian-Romanian border
Russian forces attacked the Orlivka international ferry crossing checkpoint in Odesa Oblast's Izmail district on September 6, suspending operations at the crossing. The Izmail District Military Administration reported the strike via Telegram but did not provide details on the consequences. It is the fourth such attack on the checkpoint since the start of the full-scale invasion.
