Ukraine strikes Energia plant in Yelets, damaging workshop for Russian weapons components
Ukrainian defence forces struck the Energia plant in Yelets, Lipetsk Oblast, on October 25 and overnight into October 26, damaging a workshop that produces power components for Russian weapons and causing a fire. Ukrainian sources say the plant is Russia's sole manufacturer of batteries for aerial-bomb guidance and correction modules. The Lipetsk regional governor confirmed an attack on an industrial zone but did not identify the facility.
