Interpol
Interpol is the International Criminal Police Organization, founded in 1923 and headquartered in Lyon, France. It facilitates cross-border police cooperation among its member countries, maintains global databases of wanted persons and stolen goods, and issues notices such as Red Notices for individuals sought for extradition. Its membership covers more than 190 countries, each represented through a National Central Bureau. The organization is led by a Secretary General; Jürgen Stock has held the post.

Sweden detains former Ukrainian lawmaker Dmytro Sviatash and denies him entry
Swedish border police detained former Ukrainian lawmaker Dmytro Sviatash at Stockholm Arlanda Airport on October 22 and refused him entry. He is in custody while his lawyer opposes extradition to Ukraine and challenges his detention. Swedish authorities cited Poland's Schengen-wide re-entry ban, while his lawyer says the decision was politically motivated.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General announces suspicion against NABU director, then leaves the country; Zelensky moves to dismiss him
Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, who had resigned a week earlier amid the NABU/SAPO “Carthage” operation against his own office, announced on 14 September that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU director Semen Kryvonos. The same night he left Ukraine. President Zelensky publicly called for his immediate dismissal, submitted the motion to the Verkhovna Rada, and signed a decree suspending him under martial-law provisions. The European Commission said it was aware of the events and stressed that independent anti-corruption bodies are a cornerstone of the rule of law in Ukraine.
