International Westphalian Peace Prize
The International Westphalian Peace Prize is an award presented by the city of Münster in Germany. It was established in 1998 to mark the 350th anniversary of the Peace of Westphalia of 1648, which ended the Thirty Years' War. The prize honours individuals and organisations for contributions to peace and international understanding. Past recipients include former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari and former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
