Five suspects named in Ukraine’s “Carthage” operation as senior security and police officials face allegations
Ukraine’s anti-corruption authorities notified five people of suspicion in a criminal organization uncovered during the “Carthage” operation. The suspects include senior Security Service and National Police officials, whom investigators allege helped criminal groups operate fraudulent call centres and other illegal businesses. A court placed police official Volodymyr Tsenov under detention for two months, with a bail option of 15 million hryvnias.
