High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC)
The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC, VAKS) is a permanent specialised court of first instance in Ukraine, established in 2019 to handle criminal proceedings on corruption offences. It considers cases investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, and serves as the appellate instance for decisions of investigating judges in such cases. The court commenced operations in September 2019 and forms a central part of Ukraine's post-EuroMaidan anti-corruption infrastructure.
