Russian drone attack hits Sumy, injuring two and damaging civilian sites
Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Sumy overnight on October 23, using strike drones, with some reports identifying Shahed-type drones. Civilian infrastructure in three parts of the city and residential areas in the Kovpakivskyi district were damaged. At least two people were injured, and emergency response and cleanup were still underway when reports were published.
