Government Centre for Security (Poland)

The Government Centre for Security (RCB) of the Republic of Poland is a civil office attached to the Council of Ministers, responsible for coordinating government services in crisis management. It was established in 2007 on the basis of the former Civil Defence Office. It maintains round-the-clock monitoring of security threats and coordinates responses to emergencies, including natural disasters, industrial accidents, and military threats. The Centre is headed by a Director appointed by the Prime Minister.
