German Space Forces
The German Space Forces (Weltraumkommando der Bundeswehr) is the branch of the Bundeswehr responsible for monitoring space and protecting German military satellite assets. It was established in 2021 and is headquartered in Ulm in southern Germany. The unit is part of the Bundeswehr's Luftwaffe and works alongside allied space-defence organisations.
