Finnish Defence Forces
The Finnish Defence Forces are the unified military of Finland, subordinated to the Ministry of Defence and commanded by the Chief of Defence. They comprise the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, with conscription providing the bulk of personnel. Following Finland's accession to NATO in 2023, the forces have undergone significant modernisation and deeper integration with Alliance structures.
