External power restored to occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant after more than two weeks on diesel
On 7 September, Ukrainian specialists restored external power to the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, reconnecting it to the 330 kV overhead line "Ferosplavna-1" at 19:02. The station had been running on diesel generators since 20 August, with fuel reserves running low. The repair was carried out under a local ceasefire that took effect on 5 September.
