Federal Intelligence Service (Germany)
The Federal Intelligence Service of Germany (Bundesnachrichtendienst, BND) is the foreign intelligence agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. It reports to the federal government and falls under the Chancellor's portfolio, with its headquarters in Pullach near Munich. The BND collects and analyses information on foreign developments relevant to German security policy. It has been led by Martin Jäger since 2025.
