On 28 September, a Russian jet-powered drone struck the Presidium building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on Volodymyrska Street in central Kyiv during the working day, causing a large fire and significant damage. At least one woman was killed and multiple people were injured, including former National Security and Defense Council Secretary Volodymyr Horbulin, who sustained minor injuries.
