Estonian Foreign Ministry
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia is the central executive body responsible for shaping and implementing the country's foreign policy. It is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who sits in the Estonian government. The ministry represents Estonia in its relations with foreign states and international organizations, notably the European Union and NATO, both of which Estonia joined in 2004.

Russian drone strike hits Kyiv-Warsaw train near Polish border; diplomatic train with European officials briefly evacuated
On the morning of September 13, a Russian drone struck the locomotive of the Kyiv-Warsaw passenger train in Volyn Oblast, about two kilometers from the Polish border. A separate drone hit a gas station near the Yahodyn-Dorohusk crossing, setting the building and several parked trucks on fire. A Ukrainian monitoring group warned the train crew in advance and no passengers or rail staff were injured. A separately chartered diplomatic train carrying former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's adviser Günter Sautter and other European officials was briefly stopped and evacuated near the border at around 5:00 a.m. Polish F-16s were scrambled, the Polish border airspace was not violated, and Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an emergency meeting of defense and interior chiefs.
