Espreso (Espresso) is a Ukrainian privately owned news and current-affairs television channel founded in 2013 and based in Kyiv. It is generally regarded as an opposition-leaning outlet. The channel was founded and is owned by Ukrainian businessman Kostyantyn Makukh (together with his brother Ivan Makukh), a figure associated with former President Petro Poroshenko.

Russia strikes Kyiv data centres in 23 September attack, cutting internet for around 100,000 subscribers
On 23 September 2026, Russia hit data centres in Kyiv and the Kyiv region during a massive air attack, knocking out internet and communications for roughly 100,000 subscribers. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said the strikes deliberately targeted civilian communications infrastructure used to distribute air-raid alerts. The attack came hours after President Zelenskyy's talks with Donald Trump in New York and during the 81st UN General Assembly's peace-focused session.
