Energy Community
The Energy Community is an intergovernmental organisation established by the Energy Community Treaty signed in 2005. It brings together the EU, its member states, the Western Balkans, Moldova, Ukraine and other neighbours of the EU to extend the EU energy acquis and build an integrated energy market. Its secretariat is based in Vienna. The organisation monitors energy regulatory reforms in Ukraine, including the independence of the NEURC (NKREKP).
