ECHR
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) is the international court of the Council of Europe, seated in Strasbourg, France. It rules on individual, group and state applications alleging violations of the rights set out in the European Convention on Human Rights. Its judgments are binding on the states party to the Convention, and the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe supervises their execution.
