Ukraine to Attend 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship Despite Russia’s Return
Ukraine will participate in the 2027 men’s Ice Hockey World Championship despite the International Ice Hockey Federation’s decision to readmit Russian teams, officials said. Kyiv called on other countries to boycott matches against Russia and urged host nations to use entry and security restrictions, while saying Ukrainian players would not take the ice against Russian representatives.
