Dragon Capital is a Ukrainian investment company founded in Kyiv in 2000. It operates in asset management, investment banking, brokerage and direct investment. Among its founders is a British citizen; its chief executive is Tomas Fiala. Since Russia's full-scale invasion the firm has been a frequent public commentator on the war's effect on the Ukrainian economy.

Russian strikes knock out three plants producing 90% of Ukraine's steel
Russian ballistic missile strikes in August and early September have halted three major Ukrainian metallurgical plants that together accounted for about 90% of national steel output, killing at least 17 workers and leaving more than 15,000 employees idle. Metinvest's Oleksandr Vodoviz said Ukraine effectively no longer has a steel industry, and Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi warned the state could lose around $1.5 billion in tax revenues.
