On 28 September 2026, Russian drone strikes hit central Kyiv twice within hours, damaging the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Dobrobut private medical center on Antonovycha Street. At least one woman was killed and 19 residents were injured, including three children, with six people hospitalized.
