ДЕСС
The State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) is a central executive body responsible for implementing state policy in the field of interethnic relations, religion, and the protection of national minorities. The agency assesses the activities of religious organisations, including their ties to foreign religious centres, and has the authority to initiate inspections of relevant bodies. DESS reports to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
