United States Department of State
The United States Department of State is the federal executive department responsible for carrying out the country's foreign policy. It is headed by the Secretary of State, who serves as the President's principal adviser on international affairs. The Department manages U.S. diplomatic relations, oversees embassies and consulates abroad, conducts negotiations with foreign governments and coordinates international assistance. Its headquarters is the Harry S. Truman Building in Washington, D.C.

Zelensky announces new Patriot missile package deal at UN General Assembly, does not name the country
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on 23 September that Ukraine had reached an agreement on a new package of missiles for Patriot air defence systems, without disclosing which country was involved. The announcement came during a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community in the United States, on the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly session in New York, where the Ukrainian delegation held around 20 meetings with foreign leaders and signed additional agreements with Australia and Finland.
